Google Play: Play, read, listen, see

Google Play is an online platform that includes four major categories of content: Apps (formerly Android Market - Android applications for smartphones and tablets), Google Music (now renamed Google Play Music - music), Google Play Videos (videos, movies) and Google eBookstore (electronic books).



This is what Google promises the future:

  • Free storage on Google servers for some 20,000 tracks;
  • database access audio tracks including millions of songs in MP3 format;
  • access database in electronic books. Books can be downloaded or purchased and read offline;
  • possibility to rent thousands of movies, including HD. The price is about $ 4 / film and rental duration is 24 hours. Once hired, the film can be watched on any device with your Google Account login;
  • sharing of Google content network +, e-mail or SMS. Sharing policy includes a "Listen Free". When you buy audio, you can send friends a song to listen free.
