10.7-inch portables rolling out with keyboard-sporting screen covers, integrated kickstands, 10.6-inch HD displays; no pricing announced.
Microsoft today revealed Surface, a new line of tablets being positioned to take on Apple's iPad. The first two Surface models unveiled include a Windows RT edition powered by an Nvidia ARM processor, and an Intel Core processor-driven Windows 8 Pro unit.
Both Surface tablets will feature a 10.6-inch "HD display" with Corning Gorilla Glass 2.0, as well as a full-size USB port, microSD card port, and multiple configurations of system RAM.
The Windows RT Surface is expected to arrive alongside the general availability of Windows 8, with the Windows 8 Pro Surface available 90 days later.
