Announced this month, Sony Xperia sola is a smartphone offering a special feature. Its screen feels finger above it from a distance of 2 cm. This means that some applications can be effectively controlled without putting your finger. Unfortunately, only application given Xperia native sole, using Floating Touch is the browser. No other element of the interface does not accepts the remote control.
Floating Touch technology is useful when you are selected links in a web page. Walking allows pre finger over the screen before pressing the link itself on it. Furthermore, the browser can make a preloading of the link if your finger is enough time on it. When will be implemented in other applications or menus, Floating Touch allows use of Sony Xperia sola sole ordinary gloves. This was a very important issue, brought by the introduction of touch screen capacitive type.
