One month before Mobile World Congress, LG has unveiled the first smartphone quad-core portfolio: LG X3. In addition to next-generation platform (nVidia Tegra 3), the device integrates the South Korean and other top facilities for enthusiasts:
4.7 inch capacitive screen, 1280 x 720 pixel resolution;
8 MP camera with video recording Full HD 1080p;
Bluetooth 4.0, NFC;
HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS;
Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich;
2000 mAh battery;
Ultra-slim (9 mm thick).
Competition will be a fierce, as other major producers prepare smartphones quad-core processors. The currently well-defined edge is HTC Edge, but Samsung Galaxy S III, both occurring in informal situations, but virtually announced in February.
