NajmTek Ubook - notebook with two screens (video) [CES 2012]

NajmTek Ubook is a new concept notebook with two screens, appeared at CES 2012. For what is the second screen? For a virtual keyboard that can be more easily set by language, but the screen can be used for other purposes.

NajmTek Ubook is a new 13.3-inch laptop with resolution of 1440 x 900, in prototype phase, which was presented at CES 2012. It also has a second screen, the place where, normally, is the keyboard. This second screen is touchscreen, 12 inch, with a resolution of 1440 x 600 and can be used for a virtual keyboard and more. It is a direct competitor to Acer Icon - Touchbook dual-display.

While virtual keyboards are not very comfortable (which is why in industry is trying to create a tablet exasperation with a keyboard as small, light, comfortable, not steal too much of mega benefit portability), behold, this is just Ubook NajmTek innovative - a virtual keyboard. And although I did not even seem a good idea has its advantages, it just does not pick up a prototype for nothing.

You can easily customize the keyboard in terms of language and layout. It also comes with a laptop digital pen with which you can draw or write. I assume that this function would be extremely useful for those working in design.

The notebook comes with HDMI port , VGA, 1xUSB 3.0 3xUSB 2.0, WiFi, Bluetooth and WiMax and, from what I understand, a 8-cell battery. Its dimensions are 330x236x25mm and weighs 2.2 kg (a little more because of the second screen). It is estimated that the model will be ready, in stage distribution in the third quarter of 2012 and will be priced ranged between 900 and 1200 dollars.
